This striking design, on a challenging hillside site, harmonises rugged elements of picturesque lake views, seamlessly blending indoor serenity with the natural beauty of the surroundings.

In line with passive house concepts, thermally broken joinery ensures optimal insulation, reducing thermal bridging and enhancing the building’s overall sustainability credentials, while triple-glazed windows not only maximise natural light and connection to the stunning landscape but also ensure superior energy efficiency, making this home beautiful, comfortable and liveable.

The high-performance windows seamlessly merge form and function, allowing delight at the uninterrupted views of the lake whilst benefiting from reduced energy costs and maintaining a serene, beautifully lit space.

The project’s outstanding execution was recognised with top honours in 2025, winning not only the Regional Category (Southern) at the Master Builder’s House of the Year awards but also the National Supreme House of the Year.
